I am a full time middle school computer science teacher for the past 22 years. , but am looking to part time freelance in web site design. Then with some experience, hopefully scale up to early retirement from teaching where I can do some aspect of this working from home. Some questions I still have concern workflow. So once I get some jobs, what should I use to get a signed contract? What should my contract say? What kind of jobs would be suited for a beginner like myself? What do I charge with my experience? Invoicing? etc I just need some guidance to get going. Any info would help. Thanks

Great video! When you are working on a clients website why are you not using clients gmail address for registering Google Analytics?
You should do an update of this video since it was recorded 2 years ago, the google analytics plugin for example is still the best option to check yout website traffic or is a better option available now?

I do always tell them that I give them a limited version so that they can’t mess up anything important. They are always happy because they don’t want mess it up!
@LivingWithPixels thank you for your help. I’ve learned a lot . I have a client atm who I’m having a hard time getting them to use my monthly management retainer service . Ive just finished their site. I’m hosting it. And they also have a second site they want but today have just said they need to hold off. So I’m trying to put something g together to retain them. Any ideas welcomed .

Your clients needs full access to their website. All B’s. That’s why you have a good hosting service that makes backups at least daily. People that are actually busy do not have time to set-up all these things. That should be part of another package you offer.
@LivingWithPixels. some people in my account fiverr asked me to design a website for them or to become a webmaster for their website , but I actually I don’t know how to do that or to add their websites to my WordPress is this the way -the 8 steps- that you mentioned in this video is this how it works
